Great service and atmosphere, we even heard live music halfway thru our meal. Extensive drink menu with a variety of craft beer options. Our steaks were cooked to order and delicious.

Always take great care of me. Food is good and the drinks are good. Price points for everyone.

Great atmosphere, good menu. Food took a while to come out, but I think they just had a lot of customers show up at once from the dance competition that just finished. My salmon was good but a little over cooked and cold, like it had waited a bit too long. The people are nice that work there, and they make you feel comfortable. Would love to stop in again.

This is a Ft. Wayne icon. Been serving great food forever. Can't go wrong bringing your guests here. I always get the shrimp dinner.

Love The Gas House! We only come to Ft. Wayne once a year and we always go there for our first dinner of the weekend. My husband always has the Jambalaya. He loves it but it is spicey. I had the fried shrimp and they were delicious too. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was great too.

Had a wonderful dinner at very reasonable prices. Restaurant was not overly fancy but just right for a sit down Saturday night dinner with friends. Great waitress, excellent food & portions for the price. Will be back!

Found on Open Table while looking for a new place. Booked the table on Open Table and made our 1st visit this last weekend. The four of us was seated promptly. The service was spot on keeping our drinks full at all times. The food came out all togeather and was served hot. We will be back. Great atmosphere warm and welcoming.

Very personable and polite young man for our server. My mom is 92 years old and uses a walker. The staff could not have been kinder and caring during our visit. Thank you for making her visit easy for both of us!

We ate at Takaoka and the food was great. It us cooked Hibachi style right in front of you. The chefs have killer knife skills and fun senses of humor. It is a great place for people of every age.

I have only tried their stakes, 8oz filets, and they were both delicious. This is a great place for a quiet evening with amazing food. Would highly recommend.

Very relaxed atmosphere with good waitress care by the staff. Had a light lunch with wife and another couple. Always a comfortable business establishment with good views, great food and caring staff! All the Hall restaurants are great for good personal care, great food and caring associates!

A group of 12 of us went in Saturday at 5:15. Service was ok but the waiter could have been much friendlier. I inquired about the blackened ribeye not sure if I wanted blackened and the waiter suggested the Delmonico. Said it was the same as a ribeye. This piece of meat was tough and not a good cut at all. I should have sent it back but didn't. I just hate to send food back. My bad. No one else seemed to have any complaints that they made me aware of. We've been there before and will go back because they are locally owned but not sure what I will order but I won't take a chance on a Delmonico again.

Waitress was fantastic and the other staff seemed the same. Food was delicious and generous portions for the price. Shandy was my waitress and she is top notch. Will not disappoint!!

The building was very interesting. Had the fried chicken sandwich (added tomato). Huge portion! Breading has a definite kick. My friend had the grilled tuna. She loved it.

The atmosphere here is amazing and comforting. I ordered the Burrito Americano and was impressed. I personally was not a fan of the feta within it, but I would live it with a different type of cheese. The service was exceptional, a bit slow at times, but they were busy, so it was understandable. Definitely worth the visit!

It's one of my favorite Halls locations. Never disappoints. Always great food and service!

The lunch menu leaves a lot to be desired. Basic salad,soup, sandwiches. I had wanted to experience Savor Ft Wayne offer but had not noticed that it was only offered at certain times. The person who sat us down and got us drinks was far friendlier than our server who barely smiled.

The salads were good and my Delmonico steak was cooked just fine. However, it was very tough and chewy. The other steaks at the table were great! The blue cheese filet was excellent and the prime rib was very good.

I have lived in Fort Wayne all my life and never been to Takeoka. We went after a performance of The Nutcracker that my granddaughter had danced in. I was very impressed and it certainly lived up to all the hipe I have heard over the years. Our chef was extremely entertaining as well as very professional (I have high expectations as my one son is a professionally trained Chef). In no way was I disappointed!! The food was great and was served in generous portions. Would definitely go back!!!!

The Gas House is on the ground floor and there is a Japanese Steakhouse upstairs. You go in the same door for both restaurants. The menu at the Gas House isn't huge, but what is offered has been carefully selected and is very well made. The staff is friendly and helpful and is able to answer all questions about the food. Moderately priced in a cozy atmosphere. Free cake on your birthday!

Never disappointing food or experience

Not every restaurant welcomes a single woman, but the Hideout gave me a lovely table - definitely not hidden away in the back - and marvelous service.Nice cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food and drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time and tasted wonderful.

Excellent food and good service. There is a good variety of food choices catering to the differing tastes in my family. Good atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. An enjoyable, elegant meal and a great experience for my family.
